2019 BET Awards Winners, Cardi B, Drake, Nipsey Hussle And More
This year’s remarkable BET Awards show that recognizes the contributions and achievements of R&B and Hip Hop artists at all levels of the industry, took place at Microsoft Theatre, L.A.
The start of the show was given with a spectacular performance created by Offset and his wife Cardi B, where they provided a jaw-dropping view on the stage. With impressive choreography, the rap family inserted the excitement among the audience and heated on the place to the maximum.
That was just one of the several remarkable moments for Cardi on the stage.
Her “Invasion Of Privacy” secured the first place, winning “Album of the year”. The next conquest for the “Money” rapper was the win over her opponents in the “Best Female Hip Hop Artist”.
Migos did not stay behind and won the “Best Group”. The rap trio performed their summer hit “Pure Water” accompanied by Mustard, who is collaborating with them for the track.
The teamwork between Drake and Travis Scott once again got recognition, as this time “Sicko Mode” won the “Best Collaboration” category. The song recently got credits for being certified 5 times Platinum by RIAA.
The 2019 BET Awards are distinguished with honoring the late Nipsey Hussle, who was shot earlier this year.
The rapper got a deserved win for “Best Male Hip Hop Artist”. The “Victory Lap” mastermind was honored also with the “Humanitarian Award”. Nipsey’s family was at the event to receive the awards.
Snoop Dogg and his partnership with Rance Allen secured the win in the gospel category with their project “Blessing Me Again”.
Mary J Blige brightened up the stage, performing some of her iconic songs where Method Man, as well as Lil’ Kim, accompanied her for a live session that will stay in the hip hop history. Blige took home the “Lifetime Achievement Award” as promised.
Lil Baby conquered the top of the “Best New Artist” winning over other competitors like Blueface, Juice WRLD and more.
