42 Dugg marks 2021 with the release of his newest mixtape “Free Dem Boyz” which features Roddy Ricch, Future, Rowdy Rebel, EST Gee, Fivio Foreign, and Rylo Rodriguez.
The project comes with 19 tracks, including the previously released infectious single “4 Da Gang” featuring Ricch.
It is obvious that Dugg’s whole idea behind the new mixtape is giving freedom to his friends who are still behind the bars.
The cover art of the project confirms what the headline says. Besides 42 Dugg, in the background, there’s plenty of mugshots of people, who are probably from Dugg’s circle.
While speaking with Complex, Dugg revealed his plan to try to help his friends who are locked up.
“I really made it about my people in jail and my loved ones that ain’t here with me. That’s what it’s really about. Even on the uptempo songs, I really shouted them out,” Dugg said.
