A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Arrested On Drug And Gun Charges
It was not a very good night (December 6) for the rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, originally born with the name Julius Dubose. Just after he turned 25, he and part of his crew found themselves arrested with charges for possession of guns and drugs.
But how a well-planned and almost perfect birthday party could have gone so wrong after all? The birthday party was hosted by the RAIN nightclub, which is situated in Teaneck, New Jersey.
From a security camera video, surfaced on social media, it became clear what exactly happened. A man, claiming to be part of the Bronx-born rapper’s crew, has parked his Mercedes-Benz in front of RAIN. Obviously, he was hit in the backside by another car. Till some moment it seemed like the group of people are just going to exchange insurance info and then everyone will follow their way. Unfortunately, somewhere the conversation did not go well and a fight was started. The fight was followed by several gunshots, which made the presence of the Police immediate.
After finding the situation like that, the officers decided that there must be a search warrant issued. And in the early hours of December 7, the home of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was searched all over. The cops arrived in the residence of Mr. Dubose and the result of the operation in New Jersey came to the following results.
Along with A Boogie, two more people were arrested. These are Quashaun Hagler and Samblou Camara, respectively the guard and the personal manager of Boogie. In the house, the police found guns, marijuana, hashish, and other drugs. More drugs were found in Camara’s home. The quantity led the police to the conclusion, that it was used for distribution. The guns found back in A Boogie’s home were a Ruger 380, a Glock 40, and an H&K 9mm, as well as Smith and Wesson 9mm.
