After premiering his new video for his latest track “Bleed” on Tuesday (June 16), A Boogie gifts his fans with 9 new tracks in the Deluxe edition of his “Artist 2.0” LP.
In addition to his February-released “Artist 2.0”, A Boogie originally prepared 10 tracks, but one of them didn’t make it to the tracklist. The song “This Time” with a sample of Michael Jackson’s classic “They Don’t Really Care About Us” felt behind.
According to A Boogie, The Jackson estate didn’t felt comfortable a new song with this sample to come out right now. Having in mind the current situation and the BLM protests around the US, A Boogie describes the sample as “too relevant”.
The 24-year-old rapper announced via IG that as part of the release of the Deluxe, he will donate $100 000 worth of laptops and tablets to a Bronx elementary school where he studied as a kid.
