Coachella 2020 Officially Postponed Due To Coronavirus Concerns

The long-expected music and art festival Coachella is the next on the row to suffer from the world spread virus of “Coronavirus”. It is expectedly a memorable event and is gathering thousands of people since it first happened. Coachella is growing every year. Originally scheduled for April 2020 and taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the Coachella festival was announced to be postponed for the autumn if the situation does not change in a drastic way until then.

That’s bad news for the hip-hop fans who planned their summer events already. The organization team was, as they said, “devastated” to announce the news in an official statement, but as we all know the world is small and we are connected, so the responsibility is to everybody to protect their own health and the same of the society.

Many precedents happened this year and the Californian festival is just one of the major events postponed due to concerns to the COVID19 spreads and infection. Many important football games in Europe’s championship are played with no people in the audience.

Music events and movie premieres also suffered from the fear of the infection. “No Time To Die” movie is also, long-expected from the fans and also a big disappointment for them to be postponed. Seems like it was more reasonable for the team to take this hard decision and re-schedule the premier for November. The list is long. Anyone who wants to look at the events delayed can find it on the internet.

But back to Coachella 2020. The Festival of Arts and Music will take place in the days 9,10 and 11 of October and the next weekend 16, 17 and 18 of October as well. The days of the festival will be full of nice music. Travis Scott followed by Frank Ocean, Meg Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, DaBaby, J.I.D. Roddy Ricch and many more are about to hit the stage.

The show is very promising and hopefully, it will be a celebration of art and music and the defeat of the virus. At least all of us hope to be so. Coachella 2020 is waiting for in early autumn. Until then stay conscientious, follow the recommendations of the health organizations and take care of you and the people around you.
