Though it seems like the world has stopped for several weeks due to the pandemic, many people find ways to be creative. “Blame It on Baby“ is the new unexpected album by the North Carolina-born rapper DaBaby. No signs were seen that there is a new project coming from the “Suge” rapper, until this Monday. This was even better because the surprise got even bigger.

The arrival of the new album came to the surface via Instagram\Twitter posts of the rapper himself. But what is even bigger from the release of the new LP is the stardom of the collaborations. The album got 13 tracks. You should be pleased when you see the list of other rappers, who are featuring the tracks. DaBaby got Roddy Ricch, Future, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Quavo, Megan Thee Stallion and more for his new “Blame It on Baby” album.

As DaBaby explains in the almost one-hour-long video before the release of the album, the last two have a special place in his heart. Looks like the collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion brings the rapper special joy. Ashanti, on the other hand, was reportedly DaBaby’s childhood crush. The rapper even joked that no one knows that Ashanti was his former girlfriend, even she was not aware of that fact.
The official announcement of the “Blame It on Baby“ was this Monday, 13th of April, and the next day the tracklist was available, as well as the promo video with the name “1-800-Blame-It-on-Baby“. This album is the most major solo work of the 28-year-old rapper since the Kirk, which got out in September 2019. The rapper stayed very busy between the two projects though. He managed to make many impressive appearances as a guest on several tracks.
