DJ Khaled Threatens To Sue Billboard And His Album Lands At No. 1
Reportedly, Khaled is about to seek justice for his recently released “Father Of Asahd” project.
According to the reports, Billboard has withdrawn over 100,000 album sales, from a bundle deal that Khaled made and their move placed the collaborative album on the second position in the Billboard 200 chart.
The sources say that at first, the agreement between Khaled and the chart makers included the bundle sales, but then it was not counted after.
DJ Khaled was not happy at all from the fact that the project, fulfilled with rap and R&B stars, combining old and new sound with artists from different genres didn’t take over the charts as it should.
Now, it’s official that Father Of Asahd surpassed the last No. 1 owner Tyler, The Creator with his offering “IGOR”.
The hitmaker and We The Best boss celebrated via his IG page the win over the other participants. Strange, but the comment section below the post was disabled.
The whole situation got also drama motives, as both of the artists exchanged some indirect words to each other.
In the celebrating peak position post, Khaled added “I’m in the music bizz not the bundle bizz” addressing the bundle sales that were counted for “IGOR” while disqualified for “Father Of Asahd”.
The Creator made few shots at the producer after Khaled addressed IGOR as “mysterious sh*t”. Looks like it’s time for Khaled to show off with some No.1 album.
