Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and more iconic names in the hip-hop industry did something bigger than what the world expected.
The performance of the year took place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday (February 13) where the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show took place.
As soon as the first half went to an end and L.A. Rams took the lead over Cincinnati Bengals with 13-10, Dr. Dre and Snoop appeared on the impressive stage, where at first the audience witnessed “The next Episode” of course, followed by “California Love”.
Right after the performance of the two OGs, we saw a familiar scene. 50 Cent hanging from the roof, performing the “In Da Club” track surrounded by dozens of dancers.
Right there, after 50, the one and only Mary J. Blige showed up and made the crowd go crazy with the “Family Affair” performance. Kendrick Lamar also made one of his best live appearances and heated the atmosphere to the limit.
Lamar’s performance was followed by an exploding stage and Eminem popping out of nowhere for an epic “Forgot About Dre” and “Lose Yourself” performance. Right after this, while Dre was playing “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” on the piano, Em once again shocked the crowd when he took a knee in Kolin Kaepernick’s honor.
At first, there were rumors that NFL didn’t allow Eminem to do it, but later on, it was clear that the team watched all the rehearsals and the team saw that coming. Anyway, the fans couldn’t let this go away just like that.

Watch the video below. It’s hard to imagine how hard will be for the NFL team to figure out the artists that will cover the next Super Bowl halftime show.
