Drake makes history once again, becoming the first artist to ever hit 50 billion streams on Spotify.

2021 becoming the year of Drake. According to the latest tweet by Chart Data, The Champagne Papi has reached an impressive milestone in his career, surpassing 50 billion streams on the popular streaming platform Spotify.

The streams were counted for every Drake song on Spotify as a lead artist as well as his guest appearances. The latest reports say that as a lead artist, the 6 God gained 35,704,203,269 streams. Add to this number, the number of his streams as a featured artist, which is 14,297,795,559 and the result is over 50 billion streams.

 

 

Last year, (July 2020) Drake broke another record. The “Dark Lane Demo Tapes” rapper greeted the outstanding achievement to become the artist with the most Top 10 hits in Billboard’s Hot 100 with 40 entries.

Drizzy celebrated the big win on social media, uploading the news for his new achievement. The year barely started, but this is just the beginning because Drake is about to release his next album “Certified Lover Boy” any soon.
