Those who lived in the 90s surely remember the iconic music TV show Yo! MTV Raps. For those who are significantly younger, the great news is that it is coming back for streaming later this month of May. The original air date is the 24th of May.
The trailer is out since the 29th of April. It was promoted and debuted by Paramount+. In the past, the faces of the show were changing. The common thing was that all of them were and are big names in hip-hop music.
Besides the music and the hosts, the show became iconic and gained popularity with the people who were interviewed. The highest-rated program on the MTV music channel invited Tupac Shakur, Naughty by Nature, N.W.A., and many many more.
The new 2022 edition of the show will be hosted by Conceited and DJ Diamond Kuts. According to the teaser that has been released, the show will feature iconic tributes, original videos, performances seen on the show for the first time, and such that can not be seen anywhere else, as well as mic-dropping ciphers.
The Yo! MTV Raps show has a very long history. In 1988 the first episode was released and it debuted in the U.S. The first host of the show was Fab 5, Freddy. It soon became a hit, especially amongst the public, which is very interested in hip-hop music but not only.
