Jay-Z and his Roc Nation team joined forces and reportedly bailed out people arrested during the Alvin Cole demonstrations last week, including Cole’s family members.
Alongside Alvin Cole’s mother and his three sisters, Jay-Z and Team Roc, which is the social justice team of Roc Nation, paid the bounds for a few more protestors arrested on Thursday (October 9) at Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
The demonstrations were ignited by the fact that Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm came with the announcement on Wednesday (October 8). DA John Chisholm revealed that Officer Mensah, who shot and killed the 17-years-old Alvin, will not be fired. Even more, the police officer will not face any charges for the murder.

Hov doesn’t give up on seeking justice for Alvin Cole, who was shot and killed by police in February. With an open letter to DA John Chisholm, Team Roc addressed the situation, calling for justice for the victim. In the letter, Jay’s team brings out facts that Officer Mensah killed five black men in the last five years.
