Jay-Z To Be Honored With NAACP President’s Award
The civil rights organization, founded over a century ago is ready for their Annual Image Awards event.
The awards mark 50 years since the first ceremony and will take place at Dolby Theatre, L.A. on March 30.
This time one of the most influential artists in the music industry Jay-Z will receive the most prestigious prize from the organization – The President’s award.
The contribution to the community, music, culture and all the artists Hov helped is just a small part of the reasons that makes him be the chosen one at the 50th annual Image Awards.
After Grammy’s and GLAAD Awards, got their recognition to Jay-Z and Beyonce, now the appreciation comes from NAACP’s president Derrick Johnson, who will personally hand the reward to HOV.
