Kanye West ladies and gentlemen! Finally, Kanye West released his highly-anticipated new album “DONDA”.
While delaying the album and skipping several official release dates, Kanye did the best move he could possibly do as an entertainer and released his new project as a complete surprise to all.
Here’s a short timeline of the “DONDA” project circling around the past two years. Shortly after releasing his “Jesus is King” in 2019, Ye revealed he’s already working on his next full-length project.
In July 2020, the name of the album was announced and the fans were already waiting for the project to drop. Then…a couple of months and a delay later, back in March 2021, the rumors for the album came to the web once again.
Now, after 3 listening parties and several dates skipped without any explanation, here it comes. DONDA consists of 27 new tracks.
The project features Jay-Z, Pusha T, Don Toliver, Kid Cudi, Roddy Ricch, Fivio Foreign, Travis Scott, the trio The LOX, the late Pop Smoke, Playboy Carti, Baby Keem, Griselda’s Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine, Lil Baby and Lil Durk among other names.
Prior to the release of his new piece of art, Kanye has dropped a device called Donda Stem Player, which will allow the fans to customize the album’s tracks by their choice. Preorder the stem player here.
