In the first month of 2019 the rapper and producer Kanye West is spending a lot of time dealing with court issues.
Few days ago a manufacturing company sued Mr. West for not paying his order, which they completely finished. The order was around $600 000 but the rapper didn’t pay for it and didn’t got his manufactured fleeces. More details about this soon.
Now Kanye West is at the other side of the trial. Seems to not be agree with the outcome with his Roc-A-Fella deal and EMI, the “Gold digger” artist filled a lawsuit against both companies regarding his rights and claiming they owe him money.
According to TMZ the lawsuit claims the rights of the rapper for over 200 songs that he wrote solo or participated in, including some of his greatest bangers.
Five of Ye’s solo albums were released through Roc-A-Fella Records for the period of 2004-2010, and one collaboration album with Jay-Z during 2011, also 3 video compilations, so yeah there are plenty of projects under dispute.
Jay-Z sold his cut of Roc-A-Fella Records during 2004, so the lawsuit filed by Kanye can’t be considered as a feud between the two of the richest rappers around.
There will be more details about the case soon, stay tuned.
