They say, Prison changes people. That’s the case with Kodak Black, who is currently behind the bars, serving his time on federal weapons charges. Kodak Black spent some time thinking about what he did in the past and recently apologized with an IG post to Nipsey Hussle’s family following the comments he made back in April 2019.
Make the long story short, just a week after the tragic death of Nipsey Hussle, who was killed in front of his store in LA, Kodak Black expressed his attraction and desires to Nip’s wife Lauren London.
“She ’bout to be out here single. She fittin’ to be a whole widow out here. I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and shit for him.” – Kodak said on his IG story back in 2019.
The reckless comments of the rapper faced an enormous backlash from the hip-hop society, as expected.
Black tried to apologize the very next day, but the way he did it didn’t seem to be accepted by anyone of Nipsey’s friends and family. Power 106 FM even banned Kodak’s music from their station following the situation.
This time, Kodak’s apology looks and feels more sincere. On his IG page, the “Dying To Live” creator addressed his previous comments and apologized with a long message.
“Willin To Accept When I’m Wrong & Stand Firm When I’m Right.”/ “Sometimes A Man Say Things He Doesn’t Really Mean But On Some Z Shit I Never Meant To Disrespect Your Queen,” – Kodak wrote in posting a pic of Nipsey Hussle.
