Watch Lil Baby Sends A Message To Joe Biden With His Grammy Performance
The 2021 Grammy Awards ceremony was held live on Sunday (March 14). While Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé scored a win in the Best Rap Song category, Nas celebrated his first Grammy Award 25 years after his first nomination, and Kanye took home the award for his gospel album “Jesus is King”, Lil Baby made something BIG as well.
The rapper performed live his 2020-released track “The Bigger Picture” addressing the problems that the black society is still facing, the death of George Floyd, and the consequences that led to mass protests last year.
Lil Baby was nominated in two categories but didn’t get lucky this time, anyways his amazing performance gave him the chance to send a message to President Joe Biden.
Accompanied by Killer Mike, who dropped a new verse Lil Baby shared the stage with activist Tamika Malloy, who addressed the social injustice that is mentioned in Baby’s lyrics to POTUS Biden.
“President Biden, we demand justice, equity, policy and everything else that freedom encompasses. We don’t need allies, we need accomplices,” Malloy said on stage.
No doubt, Lil Baby has provided one of the most influential performances. at the 2021 Grammy Awards. Check it out below.
