Lil Wayne Faces 10 Years In Jail For Federal Firearm Possesion Charges

A search of a private jet with Lil Wayne on board back in 2019 may lead to a serious time in jail for Weezy as the Young Money rapper was charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammo.

According to the reports from TMZ, the probability of Wayne to face some time in prison is real. Back in 2019 when the private jet of the rap star stopped accidentally in Miami, Florida, the chance was not on Lil Wayne’s side. When the feds finished, they obviously have found very interesting things on board.

While the jet of the rapper was on its way to California, it needed to stop suddenly at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. The search made by the federal agents was not without result. Unfortunately for Lil Wayne, the cops found cocaine, weapon, and ammunition. It’s unclear the fact that the jet was free to leave back at that time and no charges were pressed on Mr. Carter.

Now almost one and a half-year later, the rapper is facing serious charges. Ten years is not a little time for anyone, especially for the 38years-old Wayne.

Tunechi’s legal team is obviously searching for any chance to protect their client.

There is no allegation that he ever fired it, brandished it, used it or threatened to use it, there is no allegation that he is a dangerous person. The charge is that because he was convicted of a felony in the past, he is prohibited from possessing a firearm.” – Wayne’s attorney Howard Srebnick said.
