Lil Wayne faces some backlash after sharing a photo with President Donald Trump on Twitter this Thursday (October 29).
Less than a week before Election Day, the “Funeral” mastermind went on Twitter to upload a photo of himself and Donald Trump. Endorsing the POTUS, Tunechi also gave his support to the Platinum Plan, an initiative launched by Trump’s Campaign, that is set to put billions of dollars into black communities.
“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.” Wayne tweeted.
The reaction of the fans and other rappers was fast enough, as usual.
For the very first time in my life, Wayne disappointed me 😭

Hey, Mr. Carter
Tell me, where you been?
'Cause we’ve been asking, we've been searching
We've been wondering why…..…your non-Voting, non-involved, #EmmettTill disrespecting, behind pulled this foolery 5 days before the election?
Were you smoking? Sipping lean? Snorting? https://t.co/o9COuJ3h9M

A certain segment of black men are not actually committed to liberation; they just want the impunity of white men. It’s telling that the famous black men we see doing this are of a piece.

Royce Da 5’9 went on Instagram too to express his frustration from what he witnessed, dropping a bar from Weezy’s “6 Foot 7 Foot” track.
“This ain’t the Iconic Genius that said. {And I Quote} “Bitch, real G’z move in silence like lasagna”…. Nope 🙅🏿♂️ I rebuke you, Satan … 🗣Stay away from our 🐐’s .. And Wayne would’ve NEVER worn a shirt to the White House…” Royce wrote on his IG.
