LL Cool J Promises New Album With Q-Tip.
Every real hip-hop head can tell you that many years have passed without our favorite LL Cool J giving any album or a track to the fans, who are more than expecting it. They stayed excited ever since his last project which came out in 2013. It is named “Authentic” and made a huge success, but only promises for a sequence were made after that.
The rumors for the new project are both confirmed from LL Cool J himself and from his future collaborator Q-Tip. They both shared there is something going on in the studio right now. And on Dec. 30, 2019, J confirmed his back to Def Jam for the making of the new project via tweet.
I’m putting this new music out on @defjam 🎯

It is good to know they both found time to do music again as we know the recent years the rappers have been busy with other stuff. Mr. Ladies Love Cool James has always been busy, successful and wanted for many productions. Besides being a world-famous rap star, he is also producing new musicians and recently filming.
The Queens-born international star has released thirteen albums so far. Besides that, he also has two compilations of the greatest hits he made so far. The year 2008 marked the end of his contract with Def Jam Recordings. His album Exit 13 was the last released under this label. LL Cool J’s successful career in music was accompanied by two Grammy Awards and many more nominations. His huge success in the music business was predicted from the start of his career back in 1987. His “Bigger and Deffer” (Which goes for BAD) broke the records as it sold out more than two million copies. LL Cool J’s filming career is not bad as well. For the last few years, he is part of the cast of NCIS: Los Angeles. Since April 2015 he is hosting a show called Lip Sync Battle.
Q-Tip, on the other hand, is very popular with his jazz-influenced hip-hop. He also took part in several movies. He collaborated successfully in the music industry with artists like Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot. And now he is going to get LL Cool J on his side. It is not clear exactly how the new project will sound, who will get the bigger part or how it will be named. One is clear – it will be a good thing to look forward to.
