According to the sources, Meek Mill left Jay-Z’s Roc Nation after 10 years. The Philly rap star was in a management position in Roc Nation since 2012.
An article posted on Monday (July 11) reveals that Meek Mill is no longer part of Roc Nation, as his name has been removed from the company’s official website and social media profiles.
Earlier this year, a tweet from February 1 revealed Meek’s frustration with the label and Roc Nation about his 2021-released project “Expensive Pain”. According to the Dream Chasers’ boss, the album got a poor promotion. Another problem for Meek is the fact that Atlantic Records wouldn’t let him release new music 9 months after the release of his last album.
“They didn’t put nothing into expensive pain and then said I can’t drop another project for 9 months at the end of my contract after I made them 100’s of millions ….. how would can anybody survive that … most rappers can’t speak because they depend on these companies “ I don’t” Meek tweeted.
