Megan Thee Stallion Drops “Good News” Album, Takes Shots At Tory Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion shares debut album ‘Good News’ featuring DaBaby, City Girls, Beyoncé, 2 Chainz, and more. The H-Town Hottie takes shots at Tory Lanez with the first track from the project – “Shots Fired”.

At the end of 2020, Megan Thee Stallion is good and back in the game with one of the most anticipated projects these days – a new studio album, called ‘Good News’. And good news it is, especially for the people who were expecting some new music from Meg. She announced her full-length project via her Instagram page on Nov. 12.

The album got seventeen tracks with features of 2 Chainz, DaBaby, Young Thug, Big Sean, and SZA among others. Including three of her singles, previously released “Girls in the Hood”, “Don’t Stop” and a remix of “Savage” featuring Beyoncé.

For the Savage Remix, Megan shared with Apple Music her excitement and what it means for the female rapper to have a name like this on the album. Thee Stallion said that it took a while for her to believe Beyonce is interested in taking part in the single and agreed to work together. She even burst into tears from happiness. Megan finishes the interview for Apple Music, sharing that this is the best thing that happened to her in 2020.

Everyone remembers the night when Megan was shot in the leg, the hard times she had with the injury, and especially the tracks that Tory Lanez released after that in response to her accusations. She never mentioned the name but we can agree that the song Shots Fired is made for Lanez.

“A pussy n*gga with a pussy gun in his feelings/Okay, he in the backseat and he keep callin’ me a bitch (He a bitch)/We all know this shit, I coulda came back with (Lil’ ass n*gga)./ He talkin’ ’bout his followers, dollars and goofy shit/I told him, “You’re not poppin’, you just on a remix” (What’s poppin’?)”- Megan raps in the track.
