With an Instagram post of himself and DMX on Sat. (May 16), N.O.R.E. revealed there is something big and epic coming on the stage of Verzuz IG live battles, announcing Eminem is down for a hit-for-hit battle with the dog.
According to the post, the Verzuz co-founder Swizz Beatz called and told X, Shady is ready to face him on the viral virtual stage. What a time to be alive huh? The iconic rappers, who collaborated in the past in their “Go To Sleep” track will now bless our screens and ears with an epic battle.
Having in mind the catalog of classic hits both have, a battle between Eminem and DMX will be another big WIN for the fans for sure. Our only concern is, is the Instagram platform ready to handle so many viewers at once? We hope they took notes from the past when the “Verzuz” battle “broke” the platform.
DMX, who reportedly accepted the Eminem duel, reminds us that he still wants to meet Jay-Z in the virtual arena as he said earlier this month.
There is still no official date revealed, but stay tuned for the historical event.
