Nas premiered the video for the lead single “Ultra Black” from his 12th studio album “King’s Disease” which was released last week.

The track came as an announcement of the joint project between Nas and Hit-Boy and sparked some fire on social media after fans heard Nas’ lyrics comparing Doja Cat’s behavior as racist. In her response, the Doja said she will answer with a track called “N.A.S.”.

The video is directed by Spike Jordan and finds Nasir dropping his bars while Hit-Boy crafting a beat together with (maybe) his child.

Alongside the release of his LP, Nas joined forces with the Pantone Color Institute for creating symbolic “ultra black by Nas” color “Honoring the Black community and representing the unification of people.”

Premiere: August 26, 2020

Director Spike Jordan
