Nick Cannon Drops New Eminem Diss “The Invitation” Feat. Suge Knight
The decade might be coming to an end but there is a fresh start for an old beef just sparked again in the last days of 2019. Dec. 9, Nick Cannon delivered his” The Invitation” lyrical response to the recently released “Lord Above” collaboration track off Fat Joe’s new album (you can stream “Family Ties” here) in which Eminem resurrected the beef with Cannon and his beloved one Mariah Carey by the sharp and unique way only he is capable of.
At first, Cannon didn’t seem to be interested in the new “Lord Above” diss portion dropped towards him and Mariah, defining it as “not worthy”. It looks like he changed his mind in a major way. With a 180 degree change and a harsh Suge Knight intro, “The Invitation” starts with Death Row’s founder who is doing a 28-years sentence, on the phone from jail saying: “Eminem’s a bitch” at the end. Before that Knight challenges Eminem to accept Cannon’s invitation for battle.
As the track gains speed, Nick Cannon drops the first verse. The bars dropped by him, Charlie Clips, Prince Eazy, Hitman Holla and Suge at the outro, defining the song as a pure piece of a diss. Nick goes deep and personal name-drops Hailie, Kim and “that other kid you raising”.
One thing you might be sure when someone from the rap business mentions Em’s daughter, there will be a whole lot of lyrical bombs dropped. And judging by the response, an epic and history-making moments are about to come.
