After the video for his new single “GOOBA” broke YouTube records last week, Tekashi 6ix9ine decided to give it back to the society and to donate $200 000 to the nonprofit organization “No Kid Hungry”.
Well, his good intentions were not accepted by No Kid Hungry, who denied the noble act from the NYC-based rapper. According to the organization’s team, 69 got some activities that don’t align with their “mission and values”.
Having in mind 6ix9ine’s past and his recent legal problems, we kind of understand the No Kid Hungry team and why exactly they step back from such “big money”. Back in 2018, the “FEFE” rapper was charged with Use of a child in a sexual performance. The same year 69 violated his probation and secured himself some jail time with new charges.
Tekashi from another side, expressed his frustration via his Instagram profile, calling the denial “cruel” and accusing the nonprofit of “taking the food out the mouth” of the kids in need.
