Video: Lil Wayne Feat. XXXTentacion – Don’t Cry
Few hours ago Lil Wayne tweeted a video teaser of the track “Don’t Cry” with XXXTentacion announcing “Koming soon” and he really meant it.
Eight hours later in January, 22 the visuals came in. In spectacular scenes in the middle of the desert with camels, sand, Tunechi swag and a prism illuminated in bright lights climbing from the ground pointing the sky the video transfers us in a world mixed by the ancient and the future.
The “Carter” provides Weezy style bars dressed up from the bottom to the top in LV.
Making a video with the recently passed away rapper is really sensitive topic for the producers and seems like they got considerations.
The image of the late XXXTentacion is presented in few short scenes among the video. At the end there is attached scene from live performance of the “SKINS” rapper.
The song is part of the Lil Wayne’s last project “The Carter V” (2018). Unfortunately, the two rappers didn’t make it to the studio to record the song together, since the tragic accident happened. For X’s part in the song was used previously recorded bars and chours.
June 18, 2018 the 20-year-old rapper passed away after being shot in Florida. That same year his posthumous album “SKINS” was released (Dec.7) and blast the charts at number 1 position.
