HBO premiered the first trailer for the upcoming documentary “DMX: Don’t Try to Understand” covering just a small part of the colorful life of the legendary DMX.
The trailer was uploaded on HBO’s official YouTube channel on Friday (November 19) and in 2 minutes and 10 seconds-long video, the fans can taste what’s about to happen really soon.
“DMX: Don’t Try To Understand” is directed by Christopher Frierson and executive produced by Bill Simmons and it’s covering the “It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot 20th Anniversary tour” which happened back in 2019.
Judging by the new trailer, the documentary’s goal is to show the real DMX, his one-of-a-kind character, the way he lived on stage and behind the scenes – real, loved by the people, with the people. The footage follows the moment when DMX was released from prison after serving 12 months behind the bars.
