The 2020 BET Awards ceremony was held virtually on Sunday (June 28) but the list of winners was not everything. The Entertainment company announced the premiere of a 5-part docu-series about the legendary, game-changing rap group Ruff Ryders.
“Ruff Ryders Chronicles” is set to premiere on September 2 and BET shared the official trailer of the docu-series aiming to highlight the rise and the legacy of RR. There’s no doubt DMX and his crew left their blueprint on the hip-hop culture as one of the greatest rap groups.
In the trailer shared by the media, we see a mix of live performances, interviews from DMX, DJ Khaled, and more intense moments of the crew.
The group was founded back in 1997 and over two decades DMX, EVE, Swizz Beatz, and The LOX members crafted Ruff Ryders as one of the most outstanding names in rap music.
