The 47-year-old Texas OG Bun B has spoken about the current situation with J. Cole and Noname where they both exchanged some bars each other, accepted by some as a diss.

Make the long story short, J. Cole has dropped the new “Snow On Tha Bluff” track after a long pause. In the lyrics, he addressed recent comments from Noname about celebrities/rappers who kind of didn’t do much following the death of George Floyd and not showing up at the protests ignited by it.

From the other side, Cole delivered the answer without directly insulting Noname, but questioning her tone and her criticism with his skillful wordplay.

The situation between J. Cole and Noname evolved when the 29-year-old rapper dropped her latest “Song 33” in response to Cole’s track. What Cole did later was great, liked the song and reposted it, even though the lyrics were fulfilled with criticism all about him.

After Noname gave her apology for “distracting” the fans from the main problem, Bun B did the same thing, keeping the focus on the main goal, which is not a beef between Cole and Noname.

With his IG post, the UGK rhymer called out the fans to not choose a side in the above-mentioned situation, with words that would be echoing in time from now on.

We don’t need our people to feel like they need to choose sides right now. Because we are all in this together.” Bun B wrote.
