Drake Announces Another Release Delay Of His Highly-Anticipated Album “Certified Lover Boy.
Shortly after becoming the first artist to ever reach 50 billion streams on Spotify, Drake has announced the second delay of his upcoming new album.
The Canadian rap star went on his Instagram on Wednesday (January 20) to share the bad news with the fans via his story feed.
Drizzy revealed that he’s still recovering from his knee surgery, so all his efforts are focused on that recovery, which, according to the rapper led to another delay of “Certified Lover Boy”. The album was set to be released in January 2021.
“I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” Drake wrote. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021,” he added.
