It’s been several months since the last new project from Wale, but now the Washington D.C. born rapper shares his new music effort “The Imperfect Storm” EP.
Days before the release of the 6-track project, Wale’s Instagram was all cleared with just one pic left, the cover art of the EP.
Clearly, judging by the cover, The Imperfect Storm is incited from the killing of George Floyd which ignited protests for social justice under the “Black Lives Matter” sign around the US.
According to Kazeem Famuyide, a good friend of Wale, the EP was recorded in just two weeks. The production of the tracks is done by LAKIM, Bizness Boi, Super Miles, and McClenney among others.
