Method Man has joined the list of rappers who put a hand on the cannabis business industry with his new brand ‘TICAL’.
The name of the new cannabis company comes from Meth’s 1994 debut solo LP and stands for “Taking Into Consideration All Lives”. The album is already certified “Platinum” by RIAA.
According to the sources and Method Man, the main goal of the TICAL brand is to support and encourage more Black ownership over the marijuana industry. In a press release, Meth shares the full idea of the brand is not only to sell products but to fight social, systemic and economic injustice.
“Personally, it is essential that we use our brand to help bring awareness to the social, systemic and economic injustice in communities that have struggled with oppressive mass incarceration and racially-biased policing procedures,” – Method Man said about his Cannabis company.
TICAL will start with three different strains for the customers to choose from “Gelato”, “Crusher” and “Cake”.
Jay-Z, Lil Wayne with GKUA, Wiz Khalifa and Berner with his “Cookies” are also rappers who helping the Cannabis business and industry to develop.
