The living legends and producing moguls RZA and DJ Premier went for another episode of Timbo-Beatz’ “Verzuz” IG Live sessions for a battle. It all started a few weeks ago when Swizz Beatz and Timbaland presented their hit-to-hit competition on IG. Now, since everyone is having a hard time being under quarantine, distancing, staying home and fighting with the boredom, hip-hop is here to save us.
For the latest episode of “Verzuz” at IG, things got status EPIC since Wu-Tang’s RZA and DJ Premier faced each other with the classics they’ve created through the years.
Jay-Z, Method Man, GZA, Cappadonna, Jadakiss and KRS-One are just a small part of what was heard on Saturday night (April, 11). The whole thing came up as an impressive throwback to hip-hop’s amazing years of real rap.
And…the winner is…hip-hop and that’s for sure.
